THE STORIED LIFE OF A. J. FIKRY by Gabrielle Zevin
| What a wonderful, delightful book! I loved A.J. He reminded me of the old man in Disney's UP. He was half the old man's age but just as crotchety and curmudgeonly. When A.J. adopts Mimi, a baby abandoned in his bookstore, he begins to soften. I loved how he recommended books for her along with his opinions of those tales throughout the book. There is so much to think on and talk about in this book. I loved it and even closing the covers has not taken it from my mind or changed my emotions about it. I cannot recommend this book enough. Wonderful characters on Alice Island. Fantastic |
