SURVIVOR IN DEATH by J. D. Robb
| This one got to me. A family is murdered but their daughter survives because she disobeyed and got out of bed to go to the kitchen for a snack. I cried as I read the sections with Nixie. Watching Eve deal with a nine-year-old was fun but heart-wrenching. I did think it would end differently but 'twas not to be. Oh, Eve does get the bad guy. Probably the best of the series so far. |
