THE SUCCUBUS CHRONICLES by Lila Shaw
| Three novellas with a succubus heroine. Each novella is set in a different place and time period. In Soul of the Succubus, Yve has finally given the devil her one millionth soul and now she wants to be free of her succubus life and become human again. The devil has a surprise in store for her. In Succubus Games, Willow wants to get out of Sisyphus Prison but she must have the right number to get be Aphrodite's champion and she must beat Tyche's champion. Only problem is she attracted to him and he's big. In Succubus Steam, Violet is trying to forget Lyle by building her own automaton to take care of her sexual needs. Lyle finds out and gives Violet some new ideas. I loved the humor in these stories. I also liked that though the heroine was a succubus the stories were different. Yve is a contemporary woman. Willow is at Mount Olympus. Violet is steampunk. This was fun. The sex was hot. I want to read more of the succubus and Lila Shaw |
