| Emma moves into her late grandmother's home on Fanoe Island. A serial killer is on the loose but the police are reluctant to say that for fear of losing tourists. I enjoyed this mystery. It is creepy but kept me turning the pages to find out who did it. I figured out the why and knew who (sort of) but I wanted to know how the victims were involved. I liked the back and forth of the past and of today. It heightened the suspense of the story. I liked that Emma figured it out but I was screaming "NOOOOOOO" when the murderer was revealed. I did not want to believe it. The ending was rushed. It happened so fast. The build-up of the action then it was over. I felt deflated, kind of like "That's it? It's over? NOOOOOO!" I plan on reading more Willow Rose and her Emma Frost series. |
