| Rebecca has a reputation for being easy. Touch is how she copes with problems and stress and it leads to sex. Thornton has his secrets and problems although Rebecca thinks he has had the perfect life. While there is romance and sex here, it more a romance of Rebecca coming to love herself. I liked how she accepted her past but started to think when Thornton and others made statements about her actions. She wanted to be better than the girl in her past. Her father has a weekend party at their lake house. It is because of what happens there that she desires to change. She learns a lot, mostly her own worth and that she matters as does her thoughts and feelings. She learns to be honest with herself and others. I loved how she is able to communicate what she wants and finally decides some of her future. I want her to become the woman she wants to be. I look forward to book 3 |
