| I am glad I stuck with this series even when I wanted to beat some sense into Jesse. He finally allows Ava to slip past his barriers although there are many surprises. I am sure I would not have been as patient as Ava. I would have been more sarcastic. I got my happy ending but not without gasps and raised eyebrows and anger. Again the epilogue in Jesse's voice shows where he was and how far he has come. Ava has softened him somewhat but he is still strongly Alpha. This is worth the time and energy of reading. With Jesse's point of view as the ending I could understand Ava's attraction. |
