TALL, DARK, AND WICKED by Madeline Hunter
| Padua is looking for a barrister to defend her father against treason charges. She goes to Ives who has been tapped for the prosecution. She must decide how best to save her father. I liked these characters especially Padua. She is smart and willing to do what she must to save her father. Ives is attracted and throws caution away to help her even if it embroils him in a scandal. They find out the truth. This is a good story for the series. I cannot wait for the last book of the trilogy. |
