KNIT ONE, DIE TWO by Peggy Ehrhart
Enjoyable entry in the Knit and Nibble Mystery series. This time an actress in a local production is killed. While the cops rule it an accident, Pamela and Bettina think it was something else. Since Caralee, the actress, was a member of their knitting group, they decide to follow the clues.
I figured out the who but not the why. The clues were there but I could not put it all together. I like Pamela and Bettina trying to solve the crime. I also like how they "bribe" some people to get the gossip and story. They do manage to irritate people so I understand Penny's concern for her mother. I also liked how they managed to trip up one suspect and figure out his secret. Very crafty!
I look forward to the Christmas book.
